Shared Direction, Stronger Trust, and Cultural Alignment
Challenge
The USFWS International Affairs program needed greater alignment across leadership and teams. The organization lacked a unified direction, and some employees did not feel heard, recognized, or fully connected to the broader vision.
Lack of unified direction
Leadership and team misalignment
Employees felt unheard
Need to rebuild trust
Unclear shared priorities
Inconsistent leadership communication
Limited initiative clarity
Required collaboration and stronger culture
TJG’s Role
Our team planned and facilitated a three-day leadership retreat for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service International Affairs program, bringing together the Division of Management Authority, Division of Scientific Authority, and program leadership.
Using findings from Project Jaguar Phase I and the RADIATE, TJG guided participants through structured discussions, vision-setting activities, and collaborative exercises designed to surface concerns, strengthen trust, and establish a shared organizational direction.
Facilitated leadership alignment and vision setting
TJG created a structured forum for leaders and teams to discuss priorities, clarify organizational direction, and build alignment around a shared vision.
Translated assessment findings into actionable initiatives
